Forcing ourselves, or our services, on your organization is not our goal.
Nor are we attempting to provide a full suite of services. Our best work occurs when the client has identified a strategic goal, realized the need for expert analysis and enters the relationship prepared for actionable recommendations.
Typically we work with destinations and agencies in one of four ways:
1. Answering a specific project need.
During these projects, we work directly with our clients to define the objective and create the strategic framework to execute the campaign. Often, we help the client identify and select the servicing vendor, acting in an advisory capacity until completion.
This fixed engagement approach works well when clients have a specific objective and the ability to provide insight during the strategic framework development.
2. Long-term, advisory consulting.
Some clients, especially large destinations and advertising agencies, require a trusted advisor to deliver long-term strategic planning. These relationships often follow a common retainer model, with the client selecting our services for a fixed amount of time during an on-going basis.
These extended relationships typically begin when a client approaches us with a desire to own their market niche.
3. Strategic brainstorming / meeting moderation.
In this role, we help destinations and tourism organizations get the most out of strategic planning / brainstorming retreats. We provide the moderation, insight and analysis required to turn blue ocean ideas into actionable plans.
Training workshops are often requested by mid-sized and large tourism destinations who want to get more out of their offsite workshops and strategy sessions.
