Talking Social, For a Good Cause

For all of our readers in or near the Greater Phoenix area, I wanted to pass along a quick note on an upcoming panel discussion I will be a part of.

Elixir Interactive, a local digital marketing agency, is hosting a half-day session on ‘Using social media and interactive marketing to promote Arizona as a travel destination of choice in tough economic times.’¬† And they were kind enough to ask if I would be interested in joining the panel discussion by representing and talking about some of the social projects we have underway at the Arizona Office of Tourism.

It should be a great session, and quite a timely subject.

There is a suggested registration fee, however the proceeds benefit the St. Mary’s Food Bank, a local charity that does a lot of good, especially during the holiday season.

Here are the specifics:

When: Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM (MT)
Location: Scottsdale Plaza Resort (7200 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85253)
Cost: Suggested donation of $25 to St. Mary’s Food Bank

If you are interesting in attending the session or possibly joining the panel, please contact Sean Warren at sean[at]elixirinteractive.com.
